Every single cab I see has the long bed. Do dealers get allocations in that configuration? Or is this a customer special order ?

They stopped making the regular cab/short bed several years ago, I want to say when they switched to the “3rd” gen in 2014. I live in truck country, and I’ve only seen a handful.

I say “3rd” because while that’s what the Tundra faithful call it, some new body panels and a new interior while leaving all the structural and mechanical bits more or less unchanged doesn’t constitute a new generation of truck. That’s a mid-cycle refresh IMO.
